Linda Fong, Memorials & Get Well Mary Carter, Informative and Protective
The Informative and Protective Services Committee has many responsibilities. One is to share information about the lives and well-being of the local unit's members and families. Linda Fong reports on illnesses and accomplishments of members and sends cards of get-well or condolence when appropriate. Mary Carter informs members of information to protect themselves from (including but not limited to) scams, fraud, recalls, natural disasters, criminal activity, and potential accidents. She coordinates with district and state leaders to educate members about anything relevant to their safety and productivity. Each month, she distributes at meetings information relevant to the season of the year (health and safety, weather, emergencies, technological threats, and disasters).
